GPEx Advanced Project Manager

Your Day-to-Day: o  Responsible for all project management processes on safety analysis projects for the operating fleet of Westinghouse NSSS reactors and other customer reactors as business is acquired.  This requires leading small teams (approximately 10 team members), which may include project controls personnel, to deliver engineering services products in accordance with budget and schedule constraints to support our customers' reactor operations and the licensing of changes to their plant equipment and operations strategies.  Activities include rigorous schedule, cost, and risk management, as well as implementation of business improvement initiatives related to resource allocation and requirements management. o Complete all aspects of initiating and planning processes including authoring charters and project management plans which include developing scope, schedule, and cost baselines as well as, risk and stakeholder registers.  Apply tools and techniques to plan work such that inefficiencies are reduced and overall project performance is optimized. Apply schedule and risk analytics to confirm validity of plan. Identify risks and mitigating actions for plans with success constraints. o Manage overall project performance to meet quality, schedule and financial goals as set forth by Westinghouse, customer and regulatory requirements. Follow department protocols for acquiring team members to complete the work. Manage all aspects of project including scope, schedule, cost, risk, procurement, quality, resources, communications, and stakeholders through use of delegates/support, as applicable. Interpret and transmit project/contract requirements, and subsequent changes, to functional groups following an integrated change management process.  Prepare or oversee project cost expenditure forecasts and progress evaluations/projections (including earned value management) to support project performance and financial reporting requirements. Review project expenditures for compliance with project baselines and scope.  Promote teamwork and effective communication, including issuing and maintenance of project progress metrics to ensure team, customer, and all stakeholders are kept informed of project status. Develop or oversee project records in standard databases, systems, and procedures to ensure efficient handling and internal transmission of project correspondence and documentation. o Properly close project by archiving work in financial, scheduling, document management, and resource management systems/tools. Perform final project quality assessment and report out. Identify and communicate opportunities for improvement, lessons learned, and risk avoidance for future work. o Interpret and transmit contract requirements, and subsequent changes, to functional groups. Integrate project's objectives and actions through participation with other project groups in matters of common concern. o Identify, assess, and implement improvement or recovery opportunities that will support successful project delivery. Minimum Requirements Who You Are: As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team: oBachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business, Construction Management, or related technical discipline required; Advanced degree in Project Management, Engineering, Construction or Business preferred. oMinimum 8 years of experience as project manager leading and directing low to moderate complexity projects to successful completion (4 years in technical/engineering role and 4 years as project manager may be considered as equivalent); oFamiliar with the Project Management Institute (PMI )'s Project Management Body of Knowledge required. PMI Project Management Professional (PMP ) certification or other approved equivalent project management certification is required. oWestinghouse Advanced Project Manager qualification completed or in process. The successful candidate will be required to complete the APM qualification within a designated time period. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
