Lead, Global Tax - International & Planning

Responsibilities will include assisting with US compliance and reporting requirements of the Companies' non-US operations, international aspects in the preparation of the global income tax provision, assessing tax and transfer pricing impacts of cross border transactions, and tax planning and research. The Candidate will have significant opportunity to increase responsibilities and take on new challenges with respect to tax planning initiatives of both the US and non-US operations. Reporting to the Lead will be tax analysts within the Global Tax Department located in Cranberry, Pennsylvania. More specifically, the Lead, Global Tax - International & Planning, will be responsible for assisting with the following key activities: Manage the accurate reporting of the international aspects of the US Federal income tax return and other US reporting requirements, including analyzing alternative tax positions to determine the most appropriate cost effective filing position. Support the preparation of the quarterly and year-end income tax provision and related documentation. Assist with the coordination of the non-US tax compliance, including ensuring all significant tax matters are communicated and identified for purposes of assessing uncertain tax positions and the accurate preparation of the income tax provision. Prepare requests for tax examinations by government officials and participate in developing strategies to successfully defend tax filing positions related to cross border matters. Interfacing with and responding to business unit and other function personnel as tax-related cross border questions arise, including intercompany transfer pricing, contract review, Permanent Establishment (PE) risk control, and global deployment tax matters. Identifying and researching a full range of international tax planning and structuring initiatives, including the evaluation of tax treaties, planning related to offshore investment activities, coordination of U.S. and non-US tax laws, reviewing significant non-routine transactions within and outside the US, and to ensure that planning is coordinated and optimized on a global basis. Support the integration of business acquisitions, dispositions and restructurings. Perform technical research and prepare written technical correspondence or memoranda to support the income tax provision and tax planning initiatives of the company. Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues and tax law developments. Maintaining the company's global transfer pricing policy and related documentation and calculations. Coordinate with local country controllers and third party co-sourcing service providers to ensure consistent global application of the policy and compliance with local country transfer pricing laws and BEPS documentation requirements.  Performing and maintaining E&P, GILTI, FDII and BEAT calculations as well as maintain tax basis records. Mentor and develop tax department members to establish goals and objectives for their continued professional development.     Minimum Requirements Who You Are: As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team: Bachelor's degree in accounting. Master's degree in Business or Taxation a plus.  8+ years of relevant experience. A combination of public accounting and large multinational experience a considerable plus. Broad technical knowledge of US international tax law and regulations and treaties. Experience with a Public Company a plus. Demonstrated ability to work across international regions and cultures. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to clearly and concisely communicate with Global Tax Directors and Global VP of Tax. Works independently in a fast paced collaborative environment, efficiently works within deadlines, and is a positive role model and mentor for tax staff. Knowledgeable of aspects of accounting for income taxes. Possesses strong organizational skills. Adaptive, flexible, and able to function effectively in a highly complex global environment with a proven ability to multi-task. Proficient with Microsoft Office and strong skills in Excel. Experience with SAP and OneSource Tax Compliance a plus. Demonstrated ability to learn systems and processes quickly. 28626BR

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
