Position Overview: The ideal Media Technician will be highly motivated, able to work independently and willing to take on responsibilities, as needed, in a small, fast-paced environment. The position is available to start immediately.

Responsibilities of the Media Technician:

  • Receive incoming materials into the warehouse
  • Unpack and repack material
  • Generate barcodes and attach to corresponding material
  • Palletize and route material to staging area. Identify appropriate shelf locations
  • Prepare outbound shipments. Perform data entry functions
  • May monitor and correct inbound or outbound shipments

Qualifications for the Media Technician:

  • Experience in a warehouse related facility with inventory experience is preferred
  • Familiarity with legacy audio/video/film formats and ability to handle fragile formats with proper care is preferred
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs

Education Requirements:

  • Associate s Degree

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
