Contract Opportunity:
Financial AnalystWe are seeking a dynamic Financial Analyst to join our team on a contract basis.
In this role, you will play a pivotal part in conducting comprehensive financial analysis, managing accounts receivable reporting, handling retail disputes, and driving process improvements for enhanced efficiency and accuracy.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain meticulous records of accounts receivable, ensuring timely updates, accurate application of credits and collections, appropriate handling of uncollectible amounts, and resolution of miscellaneous discrepancies.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of accounts receivable data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Promptly and effectively manage and resolve retail disputes, minimizing their impact on financial performance.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to implement process enhancements aimed at streamlining credit, dispute, and collections processes.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for management to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Foster and nurture strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3 to 10 years of experience in financial analysis, with a focus on accounts receivable reporting, retail dispute management, and process improvement.
- Solid understanding of fundamental principles of finance, accounting, and bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SAP, and other relevant financial software/tools.
- Strong analytical aptitude with the ability to decipher complex financial data.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy and integrity.
- Previous management or supervisory experience is preferred.
