The software engineer at position within the Digital Design and Plant Engineering team will be responsible for:
1. Interfacing with the Application Framework architect for understanding and executing the overall program vision for W-Nexus, Westinghouse's Digital Design Suite 2. Working with Westinghouse's internal application framework tool in the development of engineering applications 3. Supporting other developers in the maintenance and testing of existing applications 4. Interfacing with discipline engineers to support development and execution of functional requirements 5. Interfacing with discipline engineers to develop scope, schedule and cost of new applications or releases of existing applications. Who You Are:
As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mechanical, Civil or Electrical Engineering or related degree, or equivalent experience (Preference is Mechanical, Civil or Electrical Engineer with a strong background in Software Development) 2. 0-2 years software development experience 3. Experience with Java, SQL and web-programming (HTML/JavaScript/CSS) Why Westinghouse?
